Media are invited to attend plenary sessions on the Monday and Tuesday of the 2016 LGNZ conference, and selected master class sessions.
Local government has an important role as a place-shaper and economic enabler in New Zealand and there are many key issues – affecting all New Zealanders – that will be explored at the 2016 conference.
The 2016 programme will be a platform to discuss and learn about topics such as infrastructure, leadership, culture change, transport, economic growth in our regions, financial performance, customer focus, resource management and the importance of local government. The conference will be host to international and national keynote speakers that are experts in their fields and master classes, that will discuss and debate initiatives to build a stronger local communities.
