Concurrent session 2b: Retrieval, travel, expedition and event medicine

Dr Gaynor Prince

With adventure in her soul, Gaynor couples the adventurous side of medicine with outdoor adventures and likes to take things remote. An emergency physician, she has been lucky enough to travel to some unique places around the globe including the Amazon, Mongolia, Baffin Island and Antarctica. During her medical career she travelled to Perth to study and obtain her Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound. This has helped in diagnostic dilemmas and changed retrieval logistics in some of the most remote locations on the globe, as you will hear when you join her for her presentation on Ultrasound in Remote and Austere Environments.
